Use only the number of drops your doctor patanol prescribed. Patanol eye drops are used to treat olopatadine, burning, redness, watering, and other eye symptoms caused by allergic conditions. Do not use this medicine while wearing contact lenses.
It is not known whether this patanol passes olopatadine breast milk. Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: contact lens use. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not use extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
You may also wake up in the morning with puffy eyes. Olopatadine contaminated dropper can infect your eye, patanol could lead to serious vision problems.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Symptoms resulting from seasonal outdoor allergens tend to be worse than if your symptoms are due to indoor allergens such as dust mites or pet dander.
